This largely intact forest will be fragmented by miles of roads with wide clearings for up to 37 wind turbines and pads, a substation, a 17-acre laydown yard, and an overhead transmission line. Current forest roads have minimal impact.
The Wild Creek Watershed Coalition is composed of private citizens, businesses, and organizations that are either concerned or opposed to the proposed wind turbine projects in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, Pennsylvania.
